Some bachelor’s degree programs at Doon University are BA in Economics, BSc in Computer Science, BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, BA in Media & Communication Studies, BA in Psychology, etc. For all the undergraduate programs offered at this university, applicants will be required to have their 12th class completed at a recognized university/college in a related stream.

Doon University also conducts an entrance exam for granting admission to these UG programs. Scores of other entrance exams like JEE Mains are also accepted for Doon University Admission.

A few master’s degree courses offered by Doon University Admission 2025 include MSc in Mathematics, MTech in Computer Science and Engineering, MA in Media and Communication Skills, MLISc, MSc in Environment Science, and others. For these courses, candidates will need to hold a relevant bachelor’s degree from a UGC-recognized educational institution. 

Doon University PhD Admission 2025

Doon University will be accepting the application forms for PhD courses from those applicants who have qualified in UGC NET, GATE, SLET, and any other relevant entrance tests. Some of the research degree courses offered at Doon University are PhD in Environmental Science, PhD in Media & Communication Skills, PhD in English, PhD in Psychology, PhD in Computer Science, PhD in Chemistry, and others.

In order to become eligible for these courses, it will be mandatory for the applicants to have a master’s degree that is relevant to their chosen discipline of Doon University PhD program. 

Doon University Admission criteria 2025-26: 

Doon University Admission in various academic programs for session 2025-26 must meet the eligibility criteria. Students are allowed to appear for the entrance test only if they meet the criteria specified by the university. To seeking  admission to any program students must have obtained above 45%-50% marks. Students with 49.9% and 44.5% are not considered by the university. Below is the eligibility required at each level. 

• Undergraduate level: For pursuing a bachelor’s degree students must have a related stream class 12th certificate with above 45% marks. For example, if the student is pursuing a BSc degree then he/she must have a 10+2 certificate in the science stream. Certification of class 12th board examination muts be from a recognized education board. 
• Postgraduate Level: For PG cousres admission students must have a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with above 50% marks. Students with any back exams are not eligible to apply. A bachelor’s degree muts be recognsied by UGC. 
• PhD level: Doon University Admission for PHd is done only if students have completed their higher education in the same field like a 3-year bachelor’s degree and a 2-year master’s degree in the same field. The minimum mark required by the university for PHd admission is 60%. Students with 59.9% marks are not eligible.
