The online application portal for admission to UG courses has been closed for the session 2025 and will start the admission for the 2026 session from 10th December 2025*. A student who wants to qualify for the entrance test conducted at university. Last date to submit the application form is 15th September 2025. The university offers UG courses for the regular mode only with of 3 years. Some popular courses of PU at the UG level such as B.Voc Food Science and Nutrition, B.Voc Textiles and Apparel Design, B.Ed Bachelor of Education, and more. To pursue courses students must have completed the minimum education of class 12th in any stream with 50% marks.  Academic year of undergraduate courses is divided into 6-8 semesters. To complete the degree students need to gain 180 credits under a choice-based credit system. The complete course fee for an Undergraduate degree is INR 11,850 which can be paid through an online payment mode. 

Periyar University PG Admission 2025-26: 

Application for PG courses at Periyar University has been closed for the session 2025 and will start the admission for the 2026 session from 10th December 2025*. Applicants who have completed their bachelor’s degree or waiting for their results can apply for postgraduate courses from the official website of Periyar University. There are several options available at Periyar University under PG courses to pursue such as M.A. English, M.Com, and MSc Biochemistry, MBA Export and Import Management, MCA, MBA, M.Tech, MLibISc, M. Ed, and more. The application fee for PG courses for 2025 admission is INR 590-INR 885. Students who fill out the application form online need to submit a hard copy of the filled application form with all required details to the admission department of the university. Admission to postgraduate courses is based on an entrance exam conducted by Periya University. Entrance examination dates and times will be sent to students on their email addresses.
